My new 1987 R10 Silverado (pics)

I thought I posted this here, but I can't find it (of course). But, here are the pics of the truck:

I am thinking about taking the carboard piece out and making a pattern for it. I always liked those, my fathers truck had one and it kept crap from flying everywhere.

well this is the only digital pic I have of her here:

Engine is a 1989 305TBI bottomend (original is long gone)

Plans are to continue to use it as a daily driver, so nothing really except to fix the problems: passenger side pump went out on the trip and cruise doesn't work

Sweet. It looks really good. Couldn't ask for anything else on a daily driver.

Nice truck Chris. Why did you just have to have a 87. I'm guessing you wanted it to be TBI, right? Carb hater.

You posted some pics on one of my "What did you get done" threads. I remeber dogging you about buying Paw-Paws fishing truck. Very nice driver.
BTW_ I think this might be the first time I have ever seen a picture of your lovely bride. She's a pretty lady with awesome eyes. Too bad she can't see out of them. If she could she would know what your skinny butt looks like.....

I would have responded last night Ken but I showed her a pic of you ( I was wearing my welding helmet ) and had to rush her to the eye doctor.

Yeah, I don't mind the interior, the exterior is what I don't really prefer. It isn't a big deal though, I just plan to drive it.

I saw a truck today in griffin, GA that looked exactly like that for $7200. Same colors inside and out, wheels, bed bars, everything. Not sure if it had a tool box or not though. It was in pretty good shape. No flaws that jumped out at me. Is that price out of line?

Well, I paid $3500 for this one if that tells you anything.

I can assure you there will be nothing done to this truck. There will however be A LOT done to the other trucks in the stable.

Re: My new 1987 R10 Silverado (pics)

7 year old thread FTW! Let's see...in today's dollars with inflation he would have paid about $5000, however gas is now more expensive than crown royal so the real value of the truck today would be about $3500.
