Question need image of '66 rear drum internal parts

hiya.

I have a '65 c10, lwb stepside - I'm trying to switch my rear brakes over to the '66 and newer system.

Everytime I think I have all the parts and get my wheels & drums off, I find out I'm missing something else.

This time it is a spring on the 'spreader bar' that goes between the two brake shoes and works off the parking brake lever.

I have the 60-66 factory assembly manual

the 1963 shop manual

the '65 supplement shop manual

the two shop manuals have not proven too helpful.

Maybe there is something in the assembly manual, but I doubt it...

Anyhoo, so does anyone have an image of the internal parts in the rear brake drum for a '66 and newer system? like an exploded view, a parts list, whatever?

Thanks,

-W

p.s. dadgum brakes - all of my previous experience with brake have been relegated to replacing things that were already there, brake shoes, disc pads, wheel cylinder seals, etc.. I'm rather ignorant about what all is 'supposed' to be in there, so this has been a pain in the backside learning experience.

update:

amazingly the local advance had the springs... but now I'm thinking there is something else that I've missed...

bah!

maybe old trucks are not so much fun after all...
