Another What's it worth thread (now with pics)
I found a 1971 Jimmy that is lifted a total of about 7" shackle flip rear Tuff country springs front and a 3" body lift. Drivetrain is late 80's 350 with Q-jet, TH350/np205 D44 front 12 bolt rear 3.07 gears. It is sitting on very new 35" BFG MTs, has a homemade 6pt rollcage, no hard top, soft-top decent. body has rust no holes in the floorboard, but at least one of the rockers is bad. this is not a real good restoration candidate in my opinion but I am lazy. Runs drives kind of stops (brakes probably need bleeding)
The asking price is $1000.00. This sounds reasonable to me but I would love your guys opinions (I am a jeep person). I have a set of CUCV axles that will bolt in this thing to make it a beast. Thanks in advance. adam

buy it, thats a good deal.
I'd offer $700, and go from there, even if you pay $1000 for it, its a good deal. |

That sounds like a good price. Do what Steve says! Where are you located?

Thanks for the input. At least you guys confirmed what I was thinking.
I am in NC. I will certainly pass on the deal if I don't get myself.

It's sitting in my driveway! It is pretty sweet. I can't wait until it stops raining so I can take the top down!

I got her tuned up and running pretty well. I'm working on the pics (wifey is the one with the fancy digicam). It's pretty freakin ugly. Imagine the one that earl in TN is selling and beat the crap out of it with a palomino rust/primer paint job http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s....php3?t=175875.

That thing is killer! Just keep her running good and don't worry about how it looks. The paint job is smokin'.

Thanks for the comments.
I've got a set of CUCV axles and some 39's just lying around, BUUUTT I know how slow I am with projects so I will probably just cruise as is for a little while (nice weather year round here in NC for the most part) before any major transformation. I have always loved these trucks and am very happy to finally have one!
