WTB Transfer case support rod

Looking for a transfer case support rod that goes from a Turbo 350 trans to an NP 205 (part time) transfer case. I have one from what I think is a 208 TC and it seems to be a little longer. I can cut it down but if someone has the correct one I would rather go with that so I don't have to worry about screwing up the correct alignment of the bolt holes.

Re: WTB Transfer case support rod

They were still available new at the GM store as of last year. I bought one for my '79 K10 and it wasn't that expensive (maybe $20.00?).

Re: WTB Transfer case support rod

Was that for a 350 trans to a 205 TC or to a 208 TC? I think there is about an inch difference. But thanks for the info. I will check it out.

Re: WTB Transfer case support rod

Swapped the 203 out of my 79K5 years back. When installing the 205 we had to cut the rod to length and weld it up. 1980 was the only years a 205 was the standard option behind a th350 so if it ever was made by gm i'd have the local gm dealer look up an 80 K5 and see if they did make it and if its ava.
The last swap i did was my 76 K5 Chalet and i bought a new shifter from gm and to my surprise they had redisgned the pivot point and added a sleeved bushing to stop the rattle complaint and they have a new pivot bolt for the shifter that excepts a grease zerk.

for future reference, the TH350/NP205 combo was also available from either 69 or 70 up to and including 72 for all 4x4 models.
