what I am supposed to have? 3 grooves on crank pulley?

Does anybody have an 87 V20 3/4 4wd pickup without air conditioning? I had a/c on the truck I am putting together, and bought special order parts from Fisher to mount my plow pump. What I need to know is, how many grooves are my pulleys supposed to have? Apparently you can have three on the crank and two on the water pump pulley, or two on the crank pulley and one on the water pump pulley. If I get the wrong one, the drive sheave for the plow pump won't stick out far enough past the crank pulley to drive the plow pump. Thanks very much for any help!!

I should clarify, I removed the ac pump and brackets, and need to be sure I have the equivalent of a non-ac truck for my pulleys. Thanks again!
