U-joint for steering shaft coupling?69 K20
My body lift is pretty tall & im a little concerned about the stress on the coupling. Does anyone make a u-joint to replace it? I'm open to any suggestions.

Mine came out a Chrysler minivan and it is welded in. I had two at one time but was having trouble with it binding. We took one of them out and have had no problems since.

Re: U-joint for steering shaft coupling?69 K20
I used one from a Chevy Astro minivan on my S-10. I have another one I'm gonna use for my 72 someday.
You have to lengthen the shaft but it has real u-joints and the splines should line up. I think Chevy had two different spline sizes though? Pic of iton the S10;

If you go Borgeson, FlamingRiver, etc., get a vibration reducer joint so the road-induced vibrations don't reach the steering wheel. The rag joint is imprecise, but it does a good job absorbing vibrations– unlike straight yokes/joints. And be sure to install any set screws with locktite so you don't lose attachment while on the road.
The Borgeson site should have a section for measuring your set up for the length you need. Know your male shaft diameters & spline counts and be sure you are thru with body lift changes or cab support changes so the length is right till the next major change.
