Ignition Bezel
Can anyone out there tell me how to get the ignition and bezel apart to get it out of the cab? It seems like there must be a trick to it. It just spins and if you hold it with channel locks it still will not come apart. HELP!

1st put it back like it was so it will hold itself. Insert key and turn to acc. Take a paperclip and insert in hole that is in key cylinder and push in and turn key to left at same time. Cylinder will now pull out with key.

 After you get the cylinder out, the bezel will come off. There is a flange on the cylinder to make it harder to pull the switch without the key. This tool helps keep from destroying the bezel. http://www.myoldtruck.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=6562

I spent a good 3 hours getting my old one out. Lots of "jiggleing the handle" if you know what I mean....

Cordless drill and a sharp bit will assist in that case /\
