Source for junction block connectors?
Howdy!
I've finally got my GMC's electrical sorted out to the point that I am ready to start hooking stuff up. However, I want to route some new wires through the junction block instead of routing it through grommets in the firewall, and have found it nearly impossible to re-use those pins. Their tabs just snap off at the slightest bit of movement, even if you apply lots of heat. Does anyone know if anyone sells those pins aftermarket? I need like 15 of them, and the HELP! section dealies are 2 bucks a peice :eek1: Anyone have any suggestions? Or should I just do the ol' through the grommet type connections?

Re: Source for junction block connectors?
I am assuming you are refering to the connector bodies gm used to plug in to either acc-ign-batt circuits in the front of the PDM (power distribution block).
I have never actually looked for those connector bodies...guess i'll have to now. Anyways if you are trying to add from engine bay to pdm...the block uses to sizes of terminals....series 56 being the smaller of the two and the larger is a series 59 terminal. Series 56 has been with use for a long time. You might try to download the pdf catalog from delphi . com....automotive section...other than that get a hold of dealership small parts catalog on ebay...you would be amazed what is in that nice little book....
