Turning Radius w/6" Lift
Hey Guys...Working out the bugs on Goose. I added a 6" lift with a 4" pitman arm. The turning radius is horrible now. I changed out the steering box at the same time as I did the lift. Now I'm wondering if I did something wrong or used the wrong box.
Anyone use a 4" pitman arm AND a 2" draglink? Did it make a difference? Can you turn from bump stop to bump stop? I'm not even close at this point. Makes me believe I have the wrong steering box. Any help would be appreciated. Rick |

Mine out turns any vehicle I own and it's on 38's. Sounds fishy.

Re: Turning Radius w/6" Lift
Well, the progress continues. Currently sitting at the interior shop, then to the stereo shop, then back to the interior shop. Once I can get her home I'll get some pictures. Patience...Patience. All I can say is that Old Goose is looking better than anything that rolled off the showroom floor. Now...Too break the news to my wife on what I spent on this thing!
