Floor/Bed Mat dimensions

I've got a mostly 72 Blazer, some various parts are off a 69 sub. I love that the top comes off alway to the windshield. so of courae i've got the top off all summer, as it should be. Summer only though, I do live in colorado. when i got my baby, it had Carpet in the bed and cab. but after many rains, and am oil leak at the pressure guage, i decided that i needed to ditch the carpet for something waterproof.

I'm doing some interior body work, replacing the fabric side walls with sheet, i've built some speaker boxes in under that roll cage in front of the rear wheels, and have seamed them in with some sheet metal. i'm going to paint the interior with a "Road Warrior" bed liner. but i wan to reduce the noise by droping in a rubber bed mat. and a full cab rubber floor mat. i can't find anything on line speficialy for the 72 Blazer.

my question is, can i use a bed liner/floor mat for a short bed pickup?

Do the have the same basic dimensions? and bumps in the cab? I realise i'll have to trim here and there for my mods. I think i can, but does anyone know the measurements? are the wheel wells at the same distance from the tailgate?

Thanks.

I'm on a budget. LMC's got almost everything, but it's way too expensive. they want $365 for an 1/8 inch mat, front and back.

i can get a 3/8s chevy short bed mat for $50 and floor mats for the same cab for $60. i'd rather have 3 times the rubber, for a third the price.

Check here.
i'm doing a roll-in also, i want the mats for sound reduction, and wear value.

I plan to get a soft top too, but i want one that will use the same rails on the bed for a toneau cover also.

i got lots of ideas, and know what i want to to look like when i'm done. problem is the cash/time to get there. but it's too much fun!

Welcome to the board from the Pacific Northwest. Post some pics of your rig when you get a chance.

As mentioned LMC carries them. I'm sure many other vendors carry them too. Some guys put spray-in or roll-in bed liners in the their rigs too. If you run the rubber mat, make sure you get it dry under the mat after rains.

You know they make soft tops for Blazers too? Specailty Top Company has two versions and Bestop has one. They are worthwhile if you get a lot of rain during the "top-off" season.

Re: Floor/Bed Mat dimensions

Don't use a roll on liner, you will regret it. save your money and get a name brand spray in like line-x or rhino line.

If you are going to buy the truck mat then you came measure it when you get it.
