Talking 74 and 86 compatibiliy

i just bought a 74 shortbed and i was wondering if anyone knows what parts will swap onto the 74 off of my 86 suburban. thanks!

though to work some will need some modifications...but not sure why you would put a 74 front end on an 86.. haha.. but pretty much anything except for the bed.. and gas tanks.. not sure on leaf spring spacing.. but axle might swap..

no the 86 is going on the 74. lol yeah that wouldn't make too much sense!

I bought a 1974 with an 86front clip. Still got to keep it as a 1974 from Highway Patrol and DMV. Apparently the old owner swapped everything in with no major problems.

the hood hinge area may take a bit of modification, not 100% sure never had to do this swap... hopefully someone who has will post..
