gmc v-6 FREE

i was told this was a 65 but got no paperwork with it. not really sure on the years of these. the truck is in a million pieces now so i cant really show a pic. anyway the motor was a running v-6 when my brother and i "dismantled" this ol rust bucket. i believe the carb was even rebuilt a couple of years ago. if anyone wants this engine for FREE let me know. it will be coming out soon and tossed in the pile for the scrapper if no one wants it.

I would love to have a GMC V6, is it a 305 or 351?

Any chance you are willing to ship at my cost?

Look at the numbers on the front pad, pass side under the alt. (just like the SBC) does it start with 305?

Hey - you have the engine in Monroe? I'm interested, I'm just 'over the hill' in Wenatchee! I get over your way every so often. How complete is the engine, you said it was a running engine, how long ago was it running? Also -wondeirng what tranny it will bolt up to, what did it have? Give me a shout, OK? Thanks!

got your pm. it runs right now, we drove it on to the car trailer. its bolted up to an auto tranny now (dunno what it is, its what it came with though) we are keeping all the running gear except the engine. there are zero saveable body panels. if you want it i wont toss it to the scrappers i will set it to the side out of the weather. just make sure you give me plenty of notice you are coming over to this side to pick it up. i will look at the pad and try to find out what size engine it is.

Re: gmc v-6 FREE

should bolt up to almost anything, I have driven them with SM456's (actually, it was a 67, so maybe it was a SM420), and I know lots of people here have them with TH400's behind them.
