3 on the tree linkage? help
i swaped out a bad shifter are at the trans and now i cant get out of first gear
how do i go about adjusting the linkage im not sure what position everything is supposed to be in i know ther was a step by step here on this from i belive a chevele board but i cant find it. please help i want to drive my 67 again and see how it handles withe the new sway bar i just put in.

The best way I know is to block the wheels(for safety).
unhook the linkage from the trany, with your hand center the levers on the trany(neutral)each lever has a forward-center-back.Now on the column center the shift arm, connect the linkage rods back to the trans making any adjustments needed to reach. |
