I R S, FoMoCo ?
Has anybody used a Cougar,T-Bird or Explorer I R S on a 47 to 54 1/2ton pick up. Is there any companys using these for hot rods?

i saw pics of a truck on this website. that was being built using the exploder irs. cant rmember who was doing it, but the guy has a shop and the work looked great

I believe it was an expedition not an explorer. I think i know where that thread is. Tommorrow i will try to find it.

Looks good but with all that fab work why not use corvette stuff and keep it chevy?

you can get more info on this from Bob over at Progressive Automotive. He builds complete chassis and his specialty is using Corvette IFS / IRS. He can give you the skinny man..... www.progressiveautomotive.com
