What did you get done? 11/12
I was on call this weekend so I didn't work on my truck any. I did detail both daily drivers on Saturday. Then I ran calls most of the day. I manged to stop and Auto Zone and pick up a K&N panel filter for my 06 Silverado. It may not help mileage and performance much, but it can't hurt.
Sunday I went to Church then too the family to lunch. Took my daughter to volleyball practice then came home and rode my bicycle around the neighborhood while the sun set on a beautiful day. What did you get done?

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
I finally did some work on Yeller. I installed the C-notch and put in new, longer, rear wheel studs.
Plasma cutters rule. Made the C-notch install sooooo much easier!

I was able to get some new rubber around the doors. The old stuff was shot to hell. It would let the air in worse than the windows did when rolled down. The new stuff actually stays up in place and you have to slam the doors now to get them to shut. Still no time for the blazer. If I ever get it running I'll be a happy camper.

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
I worked on my shop at the house. This is a big priority now since our shop at work is overrun with customer cars. I now have power and lights without extension cords..lol. A little more wiring in the shop and I will be ready to start on the blazer again.

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
I worked late Fri night & I had to work again on Sat. but I did get home early enough to actually wash the truck. Man it was a dirty pig.....
Sat night I went to n2billets house-warming celebration. Friends..... let me say that his house is just like the vehicles he owns: everything was changed, upgraded or just tweaked enough for you to say "Wow, that's sweeeet!". The 3-car garage had a car-port that probably has it's own zip-code . He & his wife did an awesome job. It's prob good for me that I stopped by on my own w/o the GF or I would have home improvement projects beyond comprehension. Today I thought I would get the chance to work on the 68. But . . ..... the amount of time spent @ work recently dictated this would instead be a family day & we went bowling. Oh well . . ..... We all had fun so it was worth taking the day off from the garage.

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
I restored the old banged up vintage valve covers that came with the donor motor for my 383 buildup. Turned out purty good, too bad I probably won't be able to use them with my vortec heads .

I've just been working on my shop trying to get it ready for winter projects really... All of the wiring, insulation, and walls are done, still have to do the attic, more lighting, insulate the ceiling, and panel the ceiling. Sunday I took my truck down to storage so that I could get my dad's impala in soon. I'll be spending the next couple of months doing the 502 swap in it. I've also dug in with the wife's new car, we picked up a 93 Eagle talon TSi AWD dirty cheap that I'm going through and getting road ready. I dropped 5 bills on the car and plan on running 12's with under a grand in the whole deal, 30+ mpg to boot.

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
^^^ are you still going to sell it for the other truck?
Any ways, friday i took my truck in to get the collent flushed. was good and she is doing great now not that it needed the coolent but i had added some dextron a while back and wanted to flush it out of there and just run the green stuff. after driving her all day friday it was nice to see some dust blow off after almost 8 weeks of sitting. I did find out however that when i am on my right tank the needle goes to all full and will not come down. which really is getting me. it always used to spike but this is rediculus. even when i added a full 15 gallons it still would not come down. Friday night my dads drivers side hub came for the 2000 hoe as well as the TB gasket. so we installed that hub (PITA) and took her for a spin. definatly fixed the nosie that was heard inside. And saved us about 10+ [er hub as we got acdelco ones for 184 and the dealer was asking 319 a hub. also bought the TB gasket and spark pluggs. next ordering the wires and the 100k tune up is done. Sat did not do much just rode in the truck and hung out at home and called about a few diffrent CJ's. also dethactched the lawn and raked the leaves. Today i was gonna go look at a 56 and a 78 cj but got an eye infection and my hand got infected. oh well next weekend.

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
Still for sale but have had only one hit on it. If I can get it running I'll ask more for it. Right now I'm trying to get my $$ out of it.

Re: What did you get done? 11/12
Saturday
Went to a local j-yard. Got a lucky find - a 1991 C1500 burban – pulled 1227747 ECM , distributor, couple of sensors, and high pressure fuel lines Sunday ‘Dissected and skinned’ TBI harness pulled some weeks earlier. It took an hour to get rid of epoxy filler in the bulkhead connector. Aagh – it is done now, next step is to start routing additional wires and organizing wire routing to each sensor.
