Who Makes Tie Downs???
Does any know who makes tie downs for a 72 Fleetside. I have 6 holes for what appears to be for a stake bed. I need loops or something for bungees or straps. I just cant find one that will mount in that hole.
Anyone know of a place? Thanks, Chad |

Re: Who Makes Tie Downs???
BiMart, WalMart, just about any auto parts store like NAPA. I got mine at WalMart and they work well enough. Some are better than others, but mine hold dirt bikes, so that's all that matters.
Here's some like mine on ebay for $28. |

Re: Who Makes Tie Downs???
I have seen those. Those type dont work on mine. My square channel goes all the way down about 5 inches and has a bottom to it.
So I dont think those wingnuts will work????? Chad |

Re: Who Makes Tie Downs???
Mine had a spring loaded clip that sprung open after they were put into the stake pocket. Kinda like a dry wall molley bolt.

Re: Who Makes Tie Downs???
ok, now I get it. at first it sounded like his had an added channel or something.
those will work. otherwise I have seen some that have a piece in the middle that pops up with a flip. these dont stick up when not in use. Last edited by 68C15; 12-10-2006 at 08:20 AM. |
