Headers...
Hey everyone, i got a link earlier on here to a really reasonably priced engine store on Ebay and i found these headers there for my body truck.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...mZ260065586668 Im just wondering if anyone here has used these exact headers and how they compare to say Hookers or Hedmans headers. Id also like to know how the fit of them is and how well they seal up to the heads. Thanks a lot guys! Just an FYI....i may be picking these up from him too around the end of the holidays... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SBC-C...mZ260065233495

Re: Headers...
i just bought a set of headers from him for my 69 chevy the stainless steel ones
they did not fit.. had to return them.. there made in japan..you get what you pay for ...i would recommend only buying headers from summit. i had a hell of a time getting a hold of them.. heres the link where i bought them http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...0057&rd=1&rd=1 |

He seemed to have good results (except for taking a chance and order heads spcifically not for his yea) with the ones for 73-87 models. |

Re: Headers...
I'm a little scared of a "no name" head personally.

Re: Headers...
well what got me was that other guys were saying the headers fit perfectly.....and they're definitely cheaper than a 500.00 hooker super comp, but i better stick with those the way it sounds....

Re: Headers...
the front tube on the passenger side hit the engine tower.
and the tubes were bent so you could get the bolts in the heads..they sucked |
