Sign written trucks
I quite like the idea of having the doors on my truck sign written with something period to break up the large expanse of yellow. It may be a bit cheesy over there but here in the UK it would be kinda cool. I'd like to see some inspirational pics, so can anyone that has their truck sign written with something post a pic.
Thanks

Re: Sign written trucks
Back on point , I saw this truck at the Turkey Rod Run in Daytona. It looked to be original other than the wheels and suspension. It also had a 2006 Power Tour sticker in the window. I plan on taking my suburban to one of those when I get it done .

Re: Sign written trucks
Once my truck is a little further along, I am putting a logo of a friend of mines shop in memory of him.

Re: Sign written trucks
Im thinking about doing that to my 69 when its done. Ill probably put my dads repair shop on the doors. He's retired now & had his shop for @ 30 years, started in 1967. Ill decide for sure when I get that far. It seems like its pretty popular now, by the time Im ready the cool factor may be spoiled.

Re: Sign written trucks
That look is very "in" right now, mostly with the 40's- 50's trucks. I've seen a couple early 60's rigs done with hand painted signs on the sides too.
Here's a 57 Mercury PU
