Re: need help lowering!
I don't know if there is a FAQ on the board but try www.earlyclassic.com . Click on tech articles, there are several write ups on dropping these trucks listed. Some of these articles use bags in the rear but I think the principle is quite similar.

I can't think of any how-to, but if you have some specific questions, I'm sure we could help.

Re: need help lowering!
I just finished doing this.
1. Spray every nut and bolt with penetrating oil. 2. Remove shocks 3. Remove upper shock mount and install new one 4. Remove track arm 5. remove and replace springs 6. Remove passenger U-bolts -- do one side at a time 7. Install track arm relocator, shock mount relocator and U-bolts 8. Remove driver side U-bolts 9. Install shim, shock relocator and U-bolts 10. Install shocks 11. center rearend at ride hieght and install track arm |

Re: need help lowering!
My kit was from ECE. The shock relocator kit and the track arm kit cam with instructions but it did not say in what order everything should be done. I did everything as discibed above and all worked out fine. What exactly do you have concerns about?
