Another newbie from NC
Hello all. I have spent hours reading this forum and have learned a lot of valuable info. Thank you.
I recently purchased a 1968 C20 LWB with a 292 I6 and a "three on the tree". I love the looks of this generation and it's modern looks fit right in even today. My plans ultimately are as follows: BB 427(tall-deck)/TH400, posi rear, PS, power brakes w/front discs, and some body work with a nice paint job. I will be doing all of this myself. I will be considering a frame-up restoration if I can't get my current engine running to my satisfaction. I would rather drive it around and work as I go....LOL. I will be posting more details along with a few questions soon in what I hope will be the proper categories. I was born and raised just outside of Baltimore, MD, moved to Punta Gorda, FL for 14 years, and just moved to Albemarle, NC this past summer. I've been a automobile and marine mechanic, truck driver, and am currently in management with a manufacturing company. I'm also going to school for Computer Science. My hobbies include: firearms, computers, and working on anything mechanical like my truck I am honored to be on board with such an elite group of like minded individuals. Thank you. |
