Few pics of my 49 3600
Thought Id share a few pics that I have of my 49 truck. I have many more but this is what I could find.
I am the third generation owner of this truck, my grandfather bought it brand new back in 48. My plans for this truck include a stock body, I might french the headlight. I plan on installing a Buick 455, am closet Buick fan. Had a family member pass away on July 4th of 2006 and decided its time to finish the 49 so my dad could enjoy the truck...Eric Theres the truck as it sits now http://www.imagestation.com/4325757/3944458740 http://www.imagestation.com/4325757/3944458743 http://www.imagestation.com/4325757/3944455076 Picture of the 49 and 72 back home in Iowa http://www.imagestation.com/4325757/3944455077 Picture of the rear fender after media blasting getting metal finished http://www.imagestation.com/4325757/3960670479 http://www.imagestation.com/4325757/3960670054

Looks like a cool project. I have read some of your body work threads...thanks. I am a machinist by trade, but am trying my hand at body work. So far I think I am doing an OK job...at least I can satisfy myself....lol. Thanks to you and Brian.
