Spindle
I just got the IFS tacked in place and was trying to get a feel for the look of the wheel in the fender and the spindle snapped. The spindle was only supporting the weight of the front end with no engine. Any ideas on what could cause this? It makes me wonder if I went with the right brand IFS. I've already sent an e-mail to where I bought it and will let everyone know how there customer service is.

Re: Spindle
I am guessing a defective casting...I would think they would replace it no charge.

Re: Spindle
Well Justin from Scott's called and told me to ship both spindles back and he will send new ones. I consider that pretty good customer service considering that they were closed today.

Re: Spindle
If that whole spindle is a one piece casting you don't want to use it. Cast spindles do what that did. It should be cast steel and a pressed in hardened alloy steel spindle shaft. its actually a 2 piece spindle. If you can't see where its pressed in on the back side its a cast spindle. You should see that part line between the pressed in shaft and the casting.
