Anyone try an Edelbrock TBI manifold/Holley TBI combo?

I have had a Holley 502-6 throttle body that I have been debating installing for a while. I have heard mixed reports on that. Some have pretty decent luck as a drop on, some need to have a custom chip tuned specifically for the throttle body.

I just got a steal on an Edelbrock 3704 Intake manifold. This is definitely getting installed. Edelbrock recommends using a stock throttle body (I am calling tech support tomorrow to find out why). I have a TBI fuel pressure gauge / fuel line adapter kit to see what the fuel pressure looks like as well.

Has anyone run this combo together? The Holley Throttle Body and Edelbrock 3704? Thanks!

Re: Anyone try an Edelbrock TBI manifold/Holley TBI combo?

I guess I will probably put it in when I do the Edelbrock intake... Do you want a write up or a before/after opinion?

I was going to just see what I thought of the Holley TBI today, but when I opened the hood and was about to get going, my very cold garage changed my mind...

I have to do the headers, ignition, custom fit the 8.5mm super conductors, intake, and possibly the holley tbi... Sounds like a good premise for a 67-72chevytrucks get together!!!
