Difference between swb and lwb-Dimensions and possible conversion
I have a 1962 lwb fleetside and would love to convert it to a short bed....does anybody know if you can do this to a 62 frame....just finished the air ride system and am looking at some options for the truck....

Re: Difference between swb and lwb-Dimensions and possible conversion
I'm thinking of doing the same thing. There is a thread under FAQ's that goes into great detail including pictures. The guy cuts 12 inches under the rear of the cab, and then 8 inches off the rear. It doesn't look terribly difficult if you've got the tools and welding skills.
