6 lug disk brakes and stock wheels

Sorry for starting all these threads but they are all for different reasons. I was all pumped up about getting some stock wheels for my trucks with caps and skinny whites. Well now that I have them I needed to get some 6 lug rotors. Come to find out, stock wheels wont fit over disk brakes! Is there any way around this? Please, I want to run the wheels and tires sooo bad! Maybe a 1/2" wheels spacer would do the trick? I think I could afford to loose 1/2"-3/4"

I was thinking I could get these in .50" thickness?

If those aren't enough then maybe I would have enough room for these?

Are you sure they won't fit? I was told some do and some don't, it depends on the shape of the inside. I would make sure before worrying about it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: 6 lug disk brakes and stock wheels

My guess is 71-71 fit. My truck came with Ralleys off a 4x4, so I had no issues. I would like some solid steelie myself, but oh well.

Re: 6 lug disk brakes and stock wheels

I am guessing that the 71/72 stock 5 lug wheels will be hard to find?

71-72 wheels are the same as stock steelies from 73-87. They shouldn't be hard to find.

I've got some steelies that are 15x6.5" and a single that is 10" wide. All are 6 lug.
