Re: first year blazer ??
Hence,"The 1969-1972 Blazer and Jimmy Message Board",A little misleading since Jimmys were 1970-1972.But,the question was "Blazers".

Re: first year blazer ??
4,935 were produced in 1969. All were 4wd. In 1970 they produced 11,527 Blazers which included both 2wd and 4wd. 1970 also saw the introduction of the Jimmy in both 2 & 4wd.
17,220 Blazers were produced in 1971 and 44,266 in 1972. LUV has the info on how many were 2wd and 4wd for each year.

Re: first year blazer ??
I'd be interested to see how many 2wd's over all were made. Hopefully when Craig sees this he'll chime in.

Re: first year blazer ??
I should just call him at work and ask him something like that
The look on his face would be classic

Re: first year blazer ??
Thats what I got too. I have not seen any numbers on the 2wd Jimmys though. So I am curious if those are the same, less, or more that were built.

Re: first year blazer ??
Far less Jimmys were built. My understanding was it was approx 10%-20% of the total Blazer numbers.

Re: first year blazer ??
2 wheel drive is "C"
4 wheel drive is "K" "E" means it had a V-8 Last edited by 1969k10stepside; 03-01-2007 at 07:38 PM. |
