custom dash turn signal lights

Question to those running custom dash inserts: Were or how do you hook up the turn indicator and high beam indicator lights ( on the dash insert) ?
Should I just tap into the turn siganl circuit ?

Yes, but be sure to tap into the wires going to the front lights, so they don't light up when you hit the brakes. You can pick up power for the high beam indicator from the dimmer switch.
