Cool Ad pic.
While looking for see ten's ad I ran across this one thought I would share from 69 not 72 though. I wish you could still rent cars like this for these prices. I would rent a different one every weekend

Lets see....that's about $210 a month, lots cheaper than buying a new car and making payments, I'd rent one permanantly!

Back in the 60's HERTZ rent-a-car had "special" fastback mustangs that you could rent. I believe it was 66. They were black&gold.

Lemmee see... If I'm on vacation, and I drive that car, say 300 miles a day, I would pay...$28.00 (air conditioning slightly more, of course.) I can get a rental car now for that, with unlimited miles. Of course, it wouldn't have all the "charm" of a 1968 car - AM radio, no cruise control, those wonderfully comfortable bench seats - call me a cynic, but in the rental car world, 2007 is a better place to be. Very cool ad, though.
