Which heater control do I need?
I have no heater control in my 56 project, and will be attending a swap meet soon. I don't know the difference (if there is one) between standard and deluxe. I will likely be adding ac. Any suggestions, or advice? Price range? Thanks upfront, Dusty

Re: Which heater control do I need?
Basic heater is a lever on heater box under dash going from defrost to floor with a fan control knob on dash. Deluxe goes in the opening on the dash glove box side that looks like another ash tray. A lot of the ac units can use the deluxe controls to work the new ac.
deluxe listing on ebay replacement parts are available http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/55-56...spagenameZWDVW Brian...

Re: Which heater control do I need?
Chevrolet and GMC are different as well.
Here is a picture of a GMC, in my truck and a Chevrolet faceplate on from the Brothers online catalog. See how the Chevrolet has a curved front and the GMC has a jog in it.
