Old Blazer pictures

I was going through some old pictures tonight and found some pictures of my first Blazer that I owned over 22 years ago. They are old pictures that I scanned, so the quality is not that good. Still, I thought some of you might get enjoy seeing my old ride.

I sold it to my dad, who kept it for a year or so. He later sold it to a dealer. A friend of mine saw it a year or so later after that in a town about 30 miles from here. He said the guy had put a lift on it and beat the crap out of it. He told him off for letting it go like that. That was about 20 years ago and the last that I heard of it. What is funny is my new Blazer is that same olive green under the white paint and a 4 speed truck like my first one. The first one had the hand throttle cable on it, but my new one does not. So, I am pretty sure it is not my old truck. Still it would be cool if it was. Then again maybe not, I remember how hard I drove that thing.....

Re: Old Blazer pictures

Sucks that you got rid of it in the first place...but it's cool that you got another one.

Re: Old Blazer pictures

I had a black '71, 25 years ago... traded it in on a brand new '83 Nissan pickup, when I lived in Salt Lake City. Stupidest thing I ever did.

You want stupid, at the same time that I owned this Blazer, I also had 2 Dodge Challengers. One was a 1972 318 car that was nothing special, but would bring 10-15K now. The other was a 1970 340 car with the full rally package. It was a factory plum crazy car with the bubble bee stripe. That one would be worth 40K now. Now tell me who is STUPID.
