14 Bolt Opportunity
87 Suburban 1/2 Ton 5.7L
I'm fixing up my 87 Suburban. It has a ten bolt 3.73 rear end which is trashed. I've got a chance to pick up a complete 14 bolt full floating rear axle (4.10) along with a 10 bolt 4.10 for the front for $450. I'm just getting into this vehicle and am not sure of values. Is this a reasonable price? I should add that I'll have to clean them up, new brakes and I'll probably throw in new bearings. I guess I will have to buy U-bolts too. Thanks. jor |

Re: 14 Bolt Opportunity
$450 for axles with matching gears is fair. That 14 bolt FF is one of the strongest axles out there.
