did I say something wrong
Hi, I just made what I thought was a nice introduction but when I hit the submit button the screen came up saying I wasn't logged on yet I was logged on as I am again . Let's see if it works this time.

Welcome aboard, John!
edit: I think I see the problem... your board name contains the letters f.. o.. r.. d.. The F*rd filters must have automatically cancelled your first post!

Introduction from another newbie
Hello, trying out my welcome. I could have used the user name confused as well I suppose. I'll start and get it out of the way at the start, I'm building a 56 Fa Faaaa ford there I said it. It's a 56 f100 panel truck but it's sitting comfortly on a 72 chev c10 frame and is working out nicely I must add. I just about have the body complete as far as holes being patched up seams welded up and a few body mods. I haven't started on the frame yet because I didn't want to sink any money into it in case the frame swap wouldn't work. I think that I'm past that obsticle now. At present I will only have to lower it by 3 inches front and back to get to the ride height I want, steering hook up should be no problem but was wondering if it would be possible to convert to rack and pinion so that I could get the linkage on the inside of the frame so that I wouldn't have to hack up the inner fenders I fabricated, Hope that some one will have some information on that. If any one could suggest a Canadian vender for suspension parts that would be appreciated as well if it's allowed here. I do hope I find myself welcome here under the above said announcement but I am buiding upon a rock, right? Looking forward to your replies.
