Stepside ?
I have just gotten a set of fenders for a stepside bed and was wondering if the box off one of my 68's is the same as the 73-87?
I also see alot of real nice steppers on here but there is only one thing that I dont like about them. The step area seams to short and doesnt match the cab on these trucks. Has anyone done anything like lengthening the front of the the fender and dropping the step down, like the 67-72 step area is, or has anyone done a custom job using the lower side of a fleet to make a custom step that will match the cab better? What I am thinking of is kind of like the front step area on the 88 and up beds only with using the stock 73-87 box and fenders. Anyone done this and if so you got any pictures? Re: Stepside ?
Yeah I think that would be a real hard thing to do, but I like the idea as well.
