Steve, I can see one crack in it near the hood latch, possibly repairable. is that the only bad spot ? if so, Im interested, let me know & check on shiping cost please. John

I have one that came out of a 74 GMC 454 truck . It is a little different than the one pictured and needs to be repainted ,but I do not think it has any cracks . If interested , I will let YOU have it for the cost of shipping since your truck got a little banged up . Frank

ok, I am not sure the grill is worth it. I has a couple of cracks and is pretty sun beaten. Here are two pics I took of the of the cracks.

Frank, Im not sure what a 74 grill looks like compared to a 75, but I think I'll accept the grill, thank you, very generous of you.

I will find a box for the grille and weigh it . I will check UPS for the shipping and let you know what shipping is . I just looked at the grille and I do not see any cracks . Before I send it , I guess we need to find out if it will bolt in using your current brackets or if you will need different ones . It is ugly but with a fresh coat of paint it will look nice again . The grille has three openings and GMC is in the middle one . 454 in the drivers side opening and there is no center divider running from left to right like the one on your truck . Once I have it boxed I will get back with you . Frank

Steve...it may be repairable, but I dont want to invest much in it. not worth 100.00, but may be interested if you had a more attractive price, based on the cracks, what do you need for it ?

I would let it go for.... 30 plus shipping, So say about 45-50 shipped to your door.
I am not sure how much it would weigh total so that is just an estimate for usps priority. I would be able to get it out on friday.

I thought there might be differences in the way they mount so I posted aquestion on the discussion board . Unless you are going to change the outer and inner brackets , the grille wont bolt up . If you are only going to use it as a temporary grille , it probably wont be worth the time in getting brackets ,painting the grille , paying shipping , etc . Frank

Not trying to ruin anyone's deal, but if you're still looking, I've got a '75/'76 grille in really good shape. It does need to be repainted and there are a couple of minor dings in the stainless trim, but I suspect they could be smoothed out and be hardly noticable.
I can get you some pics if you're interested, just let me know.

I tried to get a pic of the dings in the trim, but you can't see them real well. They are very minor.
If the $100 figure was fair to you, it sounds fair to me too.

went to Beardstown Illinois Sunday it bought the grill from GMCJOE. Super nice guy. Thanks Joe, good meeting another fellow board member & truck owner. Sharp Sierra he has by the way. The truck went into the shop today for its surgery, should be done in about a month.
