Re: Hi new member from Alberta here

Hey, welcome from a fellow Albertan! I'm from Grande Prairie, and I'm really new here as well. I've got a '94 GMC heavy work truck that I'm planning to mod. somewhat. I've gotten some good advice so far, and I'm sure there'll be more to come. Good luck with your '68. Sounds like you've a bit of work ahead of you!

Re: Hi new member from Alberta here

Any ideas/suggestions on what to do with it? Im a single dad on a budget & parts for these trucks are hard to find around here used. Unless you want to spend lots.

Welcome, from up the road in Leduc. Looks like you found yourself a nice little project there. I don't have any spare parts left, but the best was to get them is buy them out of the Bargain Finder. You'd be surprised what you can pick up

I have been watching the bargainfinder as well as classifieds online. Picked up a set of new drop coils for the front (traded a carpeted sub box with no subs for them) Not sure if i can use them if i convert to the 79 suspension?
Also found a rust free LF fender at pick n' pull a few months back. Desperately need a hood though. Also ideas on a inexpensive & clean way to relocate the tank.

Re: Hi new member from Alberta here

Welcome to the site from Maryland!

If you look in the FAQ section, you will most likely find the help you need on tank relocation.....If it can be done to one of these trucks, chances are someone here has done it, and is more than willing to share their experience!!
