Re: totalled

the key thing is that your ok as everyone said the truck can be replaced. Oh make sure your nose is straight you don't want to go through life looking like Owen Wilson w/ a crooked nose.

As long as you woke up breathing this morning it's a good day. Trucks are easy to come by...

Re: totalled

I had a friend who was riding (asleep) in a car when the driver fell asleep. He broke his neck and had to wear this gigantic metal framework around his shoulders and head to completely immobilize his neck while he healed.

I was in college at the time (computer science major) and had put some time into teaching this kid how to use Linux (an open-source version of unix). He took to it faster than anyone else I had shown it to. Additionally, he was one of those people with whom I was only vaguely familiar with in high school, and then became good friends with during college.

When I talked to him after he was well enough to hang-out with friends, not only had he completely lost all of his Linux skills, his memory of me had also reverted back to the high-school era during which we barely knew each other. It was as if my entire impact on his life had just been erased.

The funny thing is, the doctors said the only reason he was alive was because he was asleep when the driver fell asleep (he rag-dolled instead of tensing up).

Thank god you got lucky and came away with only scratches. [the fates|god|budda|quantum probabilistic "swerving"] decided it wasn't your time yet.

have you blown your mind today?

Re: totalled

Trucks can be replaced! You're all right, so once the nose, bumps and scratches heal....time to start looking for another truck

BTW...I love Chico...I was there last fall....there was a great Mexican food place there, but can't remember the name....must be getting late
