VIN Location
I think the VIN has disappeared. 1966 c-10. I thought it was on the door. I have looked all over this truck and I can not find the VIN! I have to drive my truck to the tag office to confirm the ID# in order to get my title back, and the freaking thing seemed to have vanished. Funny thing is, I thought I have seen it many times, and now that I need it, it is no where to be fond. Any help would be appreciated.

When the VIN tag has been painted over, I clean off the paint with a wire wheel to expose numbers and give it a brushed aluminum finish, being careful not to remove any paint from the adjacent sheet metal. |
