two questions, one is urgent!

FIRST! are power steering lines for an 83 k10 common enough to find at autozone or advance auto(if not where then???)???

and second, if i was gonna sell my truck, 83 k10 with a 350 and a like-new 400 tranny, new rear axle and fluid, and 2 new tires (all 31's), how much would be a good price to ask? it has all the common rust spots, but the inner bed is in great shape... it's tagged and insured right now and i was using it for work till i got my motorcycle, which is way better on gas!

THIS IS NOT A FOR SALE POST! but if anybody in the greater baltimore area is interested, shoot me a pm and i might decide to let it go... i just had a new daughter join the family and i'm about to move, so i may not really have time to work on or to keep this truck...

thanks

Re: two questions, one is urgent!

First - yes, bought some for my 78 k20 so i'm sure an 83 would be easier.
Second, can't help you there w/o pics, but there are several here in phoenix going anywhere from 1500 to 4000

Re: two questions, one is urgent!

thanks for the quick reply...

the reason i asked about the power steering lines is because the fittings that go to the steering box seemed strange to me... i was expecting a flared piece of tubing that the fitting would "clamp" down, but the fitting and tube are all one piece! the tubing broke right at the top of the fitting... how would you unscrew these fittings if they were good, if they and the tubing are one piece?
