2" lift with blocks?
My new tires rub a little bit sometimes. I was wondering if I could go the cheap route and lift the front and back both 2 inches with blocks. I made lowering blocks for my 68, but Im pretty sure I can get 2" blocks with bolts that are angled to correct the angle for about $20 a set. Anything wrong with this? I dont have too much $$$ to buy a good lift.
It would be for my 89 GMC Jimmy fullsize.

Re: 2" lift with blocks?
I would get a set of 50 add a leaf springs for the front its abad Idea to use blocks on the front they tend to move when steering. for the back that would be ok. there I s a 1in zero rate pring you can run on the front its like a block that bolts to the spring pack like a spring. there are sevral places that sell them DIY4x4 and ORD are the most popular.
