NOS Trim needed
I need the trim that is missing on this truck . It came this way but I want to finish out the trim . If you have any or all of it in new or near new condition , please post pics and price including shipping to Caldwell , Tx 77836 .
I also need a grille bowtie emblem for this 78 Cheyenne . Frank

Re: NOS Trim needed
Frank what color is the 78 bowtie? I'll keep an eye out for one.

Re: NOS Trim needed
Maybe Tony over at texassquarebodies has it. From the looks of those pics that N2TRUX posted after he went there, looked like he has a little of everything related to our trucks.

Re: NOS Trim needed
Tony has it in original used stuff, but he is looking for NOS. Frank I checked my stash, and I don't have any duplicates in the lower trim.

Re: NOS Trim needed
Ken ,thanks for looking . I do not know exactly what color the 78 bowtie is since the grille in the tan truck is from a 77 . I had it laying around and didnt like the tubular grille that was in it when I bought the truck . I think it should be the golden yellow transparent color like the 77 .
Mckpaul , I do want nos trim since the trim on this truck is real nice . I would take used trim in similar condition . I have considered buying a complete set of aftermarket trim but have heard that it doesnt alays fit correctly . Frank

Re: NOS Trim needed
That is correct. I pulled my sales brochures and it has the same one as the 77. Does anyone make a reproduction? I will keep a watch for an NOS one.

Re: NOS Trim needed
Yep, read right past the NOS part in the title like it wasn't even there. Had pm's going with Tony about some parts for mine right before I mentioned that, so I had his place in mine.
I had a 77 once. If I remember correctly, there was something different about either that year or the Silverado that year, I think my molding had that amber/gold color stripe in it.
