Happy weekend
Hey Guys,
Well, you were all right about the HEI. My change over went smoothly, and what a difference. The old truck runs so much better. Slowly but surly I’m making this truck that someone had let sit for a very long time into a dependable driver. This week I’m putting a 1-wire alternator from summit on her. Thanks for all the help! Re: Happy weekend
A dependable driver is great because it keeps a smile on your face.

Re: Happy weekend
Well, I installed my new 1-wire alternator last night, and drove the truck to work this morning. The combo of HEI, new carb, and some fine tuning makes for a smooth running truck. Still have plenty to do, but I feel like I'm over the mountain. Good feeling for sure!
Thanks to all for the good info. Tim |
