gears
any one ever heard ov gearvendors under overdrive i was tol that they used to make custom gears is this is true could the make new gears for what cheif told me was a h072 rear end

Don't know if they do or not, but even if they do I would venture to say they would not be cheap. I'm not sure what you're wanting to do, but an overdrive transmission would probably be much cheaper and easier if too low of a gear is the problem. A 700R4 will work nicely even with 4.11 or 4.56 gears. Is there something else wrong with the rear end or are you trying to stay with the original transmission?

the motor tranny and tcase have been replaced but i want to keep the stock rear and the gears a re hella low in it top speed is 45 witha a 2bbl carb and its reving real high the tranny is a 350 id love to got to a 700r4 but there not cheep and dont they have computers with them im not going to put any computers in my truck im not even going to hei or efi gonna stick with a carb and points

Gear Vendors is right down the hill from you in El Cajon near Parkway Plaza. Go down there and talk to them and get the straight scoop...
