Re: welders???? help!!
I agreee Miller, Miller, Miller, and Miller. I started with a 135 amp Miller and argon bottle. It is outstanding for sheetmetal and small projects. I am working on trading it in for an upgrade to a Miller 252 or bigger. I like their quality. |

Re: welders???? help!!
I just bought a Hobart 140 for 499 with cart and other accessories. Haven't laid a bead yet (non heated garage at 0*) but my buddy has one and loves it. Happens to be made by Miller.

Re: welders???? help!!
I have one of those cheap ones like the second link you have. Even at the low setting it will snap and pop right through sheetmetal. Make sure whatever you get you can cool it down enough.
