Looks real good. I like the stance of it. That girl you say lives with you now, You fed her didn't you? It's hard to get them to leave after you feed them. I mean that in a humorous way.

Re: Some pics of my blazer and us...
Thanks mod58- The tint is 13% all around, I dunno why the doors look lighter??? And yeah I'm gonna put a little bigger tire under her, whatever size it will be either a bogger or tsl radial. Those BFG's are good but I bought them used and I'll replace them next summer.

Considering the condition of the rig, I'm guessing it's your daily driver and/or an occasional off-road rig with mild wheelin'. If so, then you might stick with a radial tire, Boggers take awhile to warm up and aren't the best ride on the street. On a muddin' rig it's the way to go and you wouldn't regret buying 'em. Hate to see you spend $1200-$1500 on tires only to sell them on craigslist because you got tired of warming up the flat spots. I'll echo what Zoomad75 said about the right size tire for the gears you are running. I'm not trying to bust your balls at all, so please don't take it that way.

Re: Some pics of my blazer and us...
Nice blazer. Looks good. You might want to re-think your gearing choices though. 4.10's are what I think is the bare minumum for 35 inch tires. Add 37's into the mix and you'll still be lacking in the power department.
Look at it this way, as you already know 3.42's with 35's really leaves your little 305 way down on power. I can say this from my experience 35's and 3.73 isn't much better. I've run the numbers a few times through a spreadsheet I put together and come up with a couple of things. In my case of upgrading to 35's from 33's, my effective gear ratio of 3.73 was reduced to 3.52. This is due to the larger tire providing an overdrive effect due to the larger distance traveled for one revolution compared to the smaller tire. Ramp it up a bit to your projected example of moving from 35's to 37's with 4.10's. The larger 37" tire effectively reduces the 4.10's to 3.88's. 3.88's with 37's and a 305 will be worthless when it comes to any type of acceleration or power climbing hills on the highway. Based on my numbers, if you want to retain power/acceleration equal to 35's with 4.10's you would need to take the next step up on the gearing ladder to 4.56's with the 37's. If you plan on regearing anyway, going to the 4.56's isn't going to too much more than the 4.10's will (if any difference at all). If your going to do it, do it once by planning ahead. I'd hate to see you go through the expence of stuffing 4.10's and then finding out the truck is a real dog out on the road and then doing it all over again. Keep up the good work. [sorry about the gearing hijack]
