Had exhaust installed today
Took the truck down to the local exhaust bender guy.Installed the 2 turbo II mufflers I had asked about last week.Ran the duals straight out the back.2 1/4 pipe.I knew the trucks cat convertor was plugged up and the old flowmaster had a broken baffle inside. What a improvement the truck doesn't labor at 35-45 mph.I'll mess with the carb adjustments when the weather get back to normal here.I did spot a small problem when on the rack.A coolant leak on the left side of engine. Most likely the freeze plug behind the starter.Guess what I'm doing tomorrow.Should I post a sound clip of the exhaust??

Re: Had exhaust installed today
If you don't mind...How much $$ was it out the door? I'm needing new exhaust from the manifolds back. I'm not sure what that costs today. Last time I got duals on a car, it was 1987 and was about $100. David

Re: Had exhaust installed today
Thanks again. No cat.at all.And $180 cash out the door.Shop kept the cat, that was rattling. Will most likely pocket $30.00 on the recycle.
