opinion on Kumho tires??
I'm going to be ordering a set of 16" Torq Thrust 2's soon and was looking around at tires. Has anyone used the Kumho STX's before or heard anything about them or Kumho tires in general? I was looking at 17's but I'm not looking to ride on low profiles. Too harsh a ride I've heard. I figure 16's will give me a little more clearance from the 2.5" drop spindle and let me use a tire with a bit more sidewall. Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: opinion on Kumho tires??
I had the Kumho Ecsta's on my daily driver, they lasted as good as the BFG Comp TA's and gripped better. WAY CHEAPER! Now i have some on my Chevelle.

Re: opinion on Kumho tires??
Had some Ecsta 711s (which they nolonger make) on my Skylark which work well. Plus you can't beat the price, $77 each. Not bad for a 17 inch tire.

Re: opinion on Kumho tires??
Ok, sounds good to me. They won't be for a daily driver, so even if the treadwear is a little shorter, they should still last a while. Thanks for all the replies.

Re: opinion on Kumho tires??
I have them also on my project truck and i must say i love the look of the tread. If you go to tire rack they have them for a great price and they have reviews for tons of people. That is what helped me pick them out.
