73 3" front springs
will 1973 3" drop springs fit a 1972 frame?

Yep. Drop right in. You will be on the ragged edge of your alignability(is that a word?) at that amount of spring drop though. The upper control arm studs simply are not long enough. Offset shafts will help some...
