radio...
Well as all of you know my radio got stolen awhile back and i have been fine until now. The other day my daughter and i were crusing when a car next to us pulled up at a red light and my daughter was dancing to it in her car seat. Well as soon as it turned green the car was gone and my daughter had to settle for my voice and looking out the window.
I need to install a new radio real soon, but the Ahole that took mine ripped out the wires and i cant find any to install one. If this has happend to you, how did you fix this? where did you get your power(red) black(ground) and antenna(blue) from? |

Re: radio...
Just get the power from your fuse box. You should have a constant power for the clock, always on) and switched power (hot only when the key is on) leads on the radio, and ground it to the dash, or back to the firewall. The antenna (blue) is only used if you have a power antenna or amp, and is actually powered by the radio itself (it has power out, do not put power to it). There should be constant and switched power leads on your fusebox, and they should be labeled as such. Those will be the flat blades (not fuses).
