What you guys think about this 84?
Well its been a long time coming but I have found a deal I can't pass on. This truck was totally redone 5 years ago and I mean frame off not a penny spared. This truck is from someone I work with that was restoring it the same time I was restoring my previous truck which was stolen. Can't wait to go pick it up (26th). No big plans in store except a 3/5 drop some wheels and a few other small mods. Below are some details about the engine.
World Product Torquer heads, Comp X-treme Energy 262 cam, roller tip rockers and MSD HEI distributor. Last year I put a MSD ignition box #6-A on it. The truck dyno'd at 348.3 h.p.

Awesome truck, but the FIRST thing I would do is LOSE the glass fuel filter. If that thing cracks,POOF goes the truck.JMO

Re: What you guys think about this 84?
Great find there. I got a glass fuel filter too and I would defiantly get rid of that ASAP. Sounds like it has a fresh little small block have fun with it.

Re: What you guys think about this 84?
Good looking truck, nice find! Assuming that's a 350, those are good numbers. I bet with those SR heads, that's very streetable.

Re: What you guys think about this 84?
Good luckin' truck -- but sell those valve covers to OldrustyC10 before you get stuck in Doc Browns time machine with the needle pointed toward 1989 -- LOL

Re: What you guys think about this 84?
those are nice valve covers, don't know why anyone would say they are from 89 or whatever, but I love em and they aint cheap either. neither are the wire looms.
