Who is in Idaho? Let's get together!

I have gotten a little curious as to how many of us on here are in Idaho. Boise and the surrounding areas, Magic Valley, anywhere. I was thinking that a meet in the future, or possibly spaces for board members at Motorfest or the Emmett cruise, Hagerman or a Twin Falls show would be kinda cool. Or just have a meet-n-greet barbeque during the summer. Anyway, speak up Idahoans!

My brother is there in Boise with our dad's old 64 Fleet. He uses it as a Dumps/Home Depot runner. You may have seen it running around. It's getting a SWB/Big Window conversion one of these days:

up on the bench, for now, moving to Yakima in june so the wife can go to medical school, but I'b down to do something before I go, plus I might be swaping a big block soon and could use any advice or help along the way!

Its fun for now but just so I can get away with it as a somewat beater tell I have the motor done and a few other things. Like all the parts colected to do a rebuild.

Hi neighbors, Just a little ways out in Star.
My chevelle contertible got disc brakes this winter and it will done this week (waiting on a new sway bar and gas KYB shocks on UPS) It is always ready to cruise.
my 64 custom is my summer project. It is a driver now but the time has come for some neat stuff to get done. A under frame gas tank, disc brakes- auto tranny, tilt column and we see how far we get before my parts fund runs out!
my dad in law has 34 chevy coupe with corvette 327 and three deuces. Uncle has 41 pontiac coupe.
I am blessed to be around Gearheads!!!
Bummer about Rockies cruise nights discontinued.
But we have a Root beer -Chicken run on Thursdays At KFC/A&W now-- starting in May-- Eagle and Chinden.

Captainfab Gotta be honest here, this little blue 64 truck was found on craigslist by my wife and 15 year old daughter. It is her dream truck!!! It did not take much at all to talk me into buying it for her!! That's my girl! Makes me proud. (sniff)
It had body and paint done in around 2001 and was a parts runner truck till 2004 then it just sat. Has not moved since. We bought it in February 2009 . It is our summer project for my daughter and I, Hope to have it finished by September for school.
Has 230 -6 cylinder with 3 Sp column shift and bone stock interior with the original AM radio. Remodel Plans include auto transmission, and disc brakes, power steering and tilt column. Going to leave the 6 cyl in place. Radio has to go also, plans are made for a cd player and nice speakers( her idea). Shoulder Seat belts are to be installed also. The gas tank is to be moved under the bed.
We have it running now and are driving it around letting her learn to drive a clutch and shift before we start in on the tear down.
She will have a neat little truck when we are done! Bruce
